چکیده

One of the most common problems in wounds is delayed healing and complications such as infection. Therefore, need for novel materials accelerates especially abdominal after surgery besides high efficiency safety mandatory. The rate wound healing, anti-inflammatory biocompatibility Zn-Al LDH alone loaded with Curcumin was screened via in-vivo assays through intramuscular implantation rat wall intact peritoneum cavity. implanted drugs were formed into drug release 56.78 ±1.51% within 24 h. synthesized nanocomposite characterized by thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, Field emission scanning microscopy, resolution transmission electron microscope BET surface area. integrity blood circulation, inflammatory signs, rate, capacity tissue integration, antigenicity composite biocompatibility, auto fluorescence ability collagen bundles tensile strength muscle assessed histopathologically 7 30 days post-implantation. Excellent achieved shortest length between gap edges higher muscle. Besides emit florescence very well followed good muscles while low scar formation Curcumin-Zn/Al-LDH both acute chronic wound. No signs inflammation & LDH. vessels obstruction or bleeding observed Zn/Al-LDH more than nanocurcumin control which examined candling. Good infiltrated immune cells same groups histopathological examination. This work supports anti-inflammatory, living matter, increasing their biomedical applications this era efficacy prolonged release.

Curcumin: a novel therapeutic for burn pain and wound healing.

INTRODUCTION Managing burn injury-associated pain and wounds is a major unresolved clinical problem. Opioids, nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), antidepressants and anticonvulsants remain the most common forms of analgesic therapy to treat burn patients. However, prolonged treatment with these drugs leads to dose escalation and serious side effects. Additionally, severe burn wounds c...

Thymosin beta 4: A novel corneal wound healing and anti-inflammatory agent

Thymosin beta 4 (Tbeta(4)) is a low molecular weight protein present in all cells except erythrocytes. Although Tbeta(4) is the major monomeric actin-sequestering peptide in cells and can depolymerize F-actin, evidence is mounting to support the idea that it has multiple, seemingly diverse, cellular functions. In cornea, as in other tissues, Tbeta(4) promotes cell migration and wound healing, h...

Ex vivo corneal epithelial wound healing following exposure to ophthalmic nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

PURPOSE Ketorolac 0.45% is a new formulation of topical ketorolac in which preservative (benzalkonium chloride, BAK) was removed and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) was added to improve tolerability and reduce dosing frequency. This study compared the effects of ketorolac 0.45% on corneal wound healing to prior ketorolac formulations (0.4% and 0.5%), bromfenac 0.09%, and nepafenac 0.1%. METHODS ...

Inflammatory mediators in wound healing.

This article provides much evidence that the inflammatory process has direct effects on normal and abnormal wound healing. As better understanding develops for the mechanism for these outcomes, targeted proinflammatory and anti-inflammatory interventions are likely to be successful. When inflammation is maintained as a regulated and orchestrated response, effective and normal wound healing is l...
